Beef Up Your Cooking Game: hCG -Friendly Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

hCG -Friendly Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry 


Ingredients
- 3.5 oz. beef tenderloin
- 1/4 cup raw onions, chopped
- 1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp. ginger root
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 tsp. corn starch
- 1 tsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos
- dash of salt


Directions
1. Slice beef into thin slices. Add 1 tsp of Liquid Aminos, 1/4 tsp minced garlic (or to taste) and marinate for a few minutes.
2. Cook chopped onions in small pan until caramelized or tender.
3. Add beef to pan with the onions and continue cooking on medium heat.
4. When beef is just about done, add fresh broccoli into pan.
5. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until desired tenderness is achieved.
6. Add water mixed with 1/4 (or to taste) tsp minced garlic, minced ginger and corn starch.
7. Deglaze bottom of pan with spatula to mix into the sauce.
8. Cool down, serve and enjoy eating hCG -friendly!

Isn't That Sweet: NewMeMD 's hCG -Friendly Honey Mustard Chicken

Being on an hCG weight loss program doesn't mean all your meals will have to be bland or boring.

With a little creativity in the kitchen, you can enjoy foods that are just as delicious as their original (yet calorie-dense and fat-laden, might we add) versions, sans the guilt!

Here's a yummy new hCG recipe from our NewMeMD wellness team to try out for dinner this week:

hCG -Friendly Honey Mustard Chicken


Ingredients
- 400 grams of boneless skinless chicken breasts (or tenderloins)
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons of honey
- 3 tablespoons of mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 2 heads of garlic, peeled
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. In a shallow pan, toss carrots with oil, salt and pepper.
3. Nestle peeled garlic cloves within veggies and scatter the rosemary on top as well.
4. Arrange chicken among the vegetables and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
5. While chicken is baking, stir mustard and honey together in a bowl.
6. After half an hour, remove pan from the oven and carefully place the chicken in a new dish.
7. Spread honey mustard mixture over chicken.
8. Stir in vegetables with chicken & honey mustard mixture and return pan to the oven.
9. Bake an additional 10 to 20 minutes (until the chicken is cooked and veggies are tender).
10. Cool down, serve and enjoy eating hCG-friendly (makes 4 servings)!

Orange You Glad It's hCG-Friendly? NewMeMD 's Orange Ginger Chicken

The wind is blowing cold and that dreaded chill is definitely in the air this week...

If it's too brisk for you to dine out this evening or during the weekend (and on top of that, you just happen to be watching your waistline), why not try this citrus twist on chicken for dinner from our NewMeMD 
wellness team instead?


hCG-Friendly Orange Ginger Chicken

Ingredients
- 100 grams chicken, cut into chunks
- 1 orange, cut into quarters
- 2 to 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger root (about ½ to 1 long piece, peeled and minced)
- ½ tsp. basil
- juice from half a lemon

- black pepper

Directions
1. Preheat pan over medium heat.
2. Sprinkle chicken with pepper.
3. Add chicken to pan and stir fry until brown on all sides (for about 5-10 minutes).
4. Add garlic and cook for one minute.
5. Squeeze juice of orange quarters over chicken.
6. Peel and separate orange into sections. Add orange sections, ginger, lemon, juice and basil. Stir.
7. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
8. Cool down, serve and enjoy eating hCG-friendly (makes 1 serving)!

Open Sesame (Chicken, That is)! NewMeMD 's hCG-Friendly Sesame Chicken

You don’t have to go to P.F. Chang's or order in from Chin Chin to fulfill your cravings for Far East fare... 

Check out this simple, hCG-friendly recipe from our NewMeMD wellness team instead!

hCG-Friendly Sesame Chicken


Ingredients
- 1 pound (16 oz.) boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size chunks
- 3 tbsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce if you can't find a bottle of Liquid Aminos)
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. raw cane sugar
- 1 tsp. honey
- ½ cup white sesame seeds (un-toasted if possible)

- 1 tsp. of scallions (optional)
- liberal pinches of black pepper, ground ginger and ground cinnamon to taste

Directions
1. Combine all ingredients except chicken in the bowl.
2. Add chicken and mix together well so the chicken is thoroughly coated in the marinade. 

3. Cover and let mixture sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5. Arrange chicken on a cookie sheet and pour liquid from your chicken mixture on top.
6. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes. Flip chicken pieces with spatula and bake for another 5 minutes, or until done.

7. Cool down and top with sesame seeds (and scallions, if desired).
8. Serve and enjoy this hCG-friendly version of a Chinese takeout favorite!
